We are expanding and looking to bring on one more gutter tech to our crew. We will also be hiring two more in the next two months to get ready for Christmas light and fall gutter season.

At Mallard Gutter, you’ll be helping do a lot of different tasks. We clean gutters, perform inspections to diagnose issues, install and repair full gutter systems, install and repair fascia and soffit as well as several other roofing and siding related services.

The best part? You don’t need any experience. All training will be provided on the job - all you have to do is show up.

Pay starts at $18/hr your first week and then you’ll be bumped to $20 an hour your second week if your attendance is perfect during that period. The more you learn, the more you can make.

We typically work anywhere from 30-45 hours per week and during the fall, have tons of opportunity for overtime.

Requirements:
🦆Must be 18+
🦆Must be physically fit enough to lift/climb ladders, lift 50+ pounds, and be on your feet all day
🦆Be okay working in all Ohio weather - rain, snow, hot and cold
🦆Must have reliable transportation. Work truck leaves from Fairview Park every morning.
🦆Be motivated to learn many new skills
🦆Be able to follow basic and simple instructions. You will be expected to learn from your training and apply it without being supervised.

One thing we’ve learned over the years at Mallard Gutter is that a gutter system can look perfectly clean and still have a major problem hiding inside.

This gutter looked completely empty from our drone footage and even passed a quick visual inspection. But after taking a closer look, we noticed hardened debris around the downspout elbow seams—a common sign of a hidden clog. We then ran water through the system and found it wasn’t exiting properly. Finally, a simple flick test confirmed what we suspected: the downspout was packed solid.

That’s why we don’t just glance at a gutter and call it good. Every system gets double and triple checked because the success stats on visual inspections are extremely low.
