Small Basement Remodel – Under $12,000
For this project, we completely remodeled a basement for under $12,000. We started by framing all the walls, including a door and closet doorway. Next, we ran new electrical for outlets and lighting throughout the space.

We then installed insulation, including soundproof insulation in one of the rooms to reduce noise from the adjacent laundry area. After that, we hung drywall on both the ceilings and walls, followed by taping and applying three coats of mud for a smooth finish.

Once the drywall was complete, we painted the ceiling, while the homeowner chose to paint the walls themselves. We then installed luxury vinyl plank flooring, as well as new doors and trim. To wrap things up, we painted the trim and doors, completed a few final touch-ups, and the project was done.

We started by pressure washing the house and garage to prep all surfaces. Then we sprayed the vinyl siding using premium Benjamin Moore exterior paint. After that, we hand-painted the trim, doors, and windows for a detailed finish. Lastly, we gave the shutters a fresh coat and wrapped up the job.

We started this project by removing all the old deck boards to assess the framing underneath. Several sections of the frame were rotted, so we removed and replaced all damaged wood. To extend the life of the remaining structure, we treated the existing framing with protective chemicals. Once the frame was solid, we installed brand-new composite decking using hidden fasteners for a clean, modern look. We also added some custom design elements to give the deck a unique finish.

Then we applied three smooth coats of joint compound to ensure a clean, even surface. After letting everything dry, we sanded and feathered out all areas for a flawless finish. This project was all about maximizing value while making a huge visual difference. Here’s what we tackled:

✅ Pressure washed the entire deck, fence, and front porch railing
✅ Replaced all rotted boards and added a center seam board for a cleaner finish
✅ Light sanding and spot-primed with Stop Peel to lock everything in
✅ Stained the fence and railings in Barista, and deck boards in Rich Clay Brown – both from Wals Paint Benjamin Moore, Parma Heights)
✅ Painted the front railing and ramp leading to the shed
✅ Bonus: Touched up paint and made some repairs on the shed too!

Deck Refinish Under $600
We started by pressure washing the deck to clear away all the dirt and grime that had built up since it was first installed. After that, we lightly sanded the surface to smooth out any rough areas. Then, we applied two coats of Benjamin Moore’s Woodluxe oil stain, which we picked up from Wals Paint Benjamin Moores in Parma Heights. While the stain only requires one coat, we applied two for a richer, darker finish. The end result turned out even better than we imagined!

Small Deck Refinish – All for Under $700

We recently wrapped up a deck refinishing project for less than $700. We started by pressure washing the deck, followed by a thorough sanding to smooth out the surface.

Next, we replaced six damaged deck boards and applied putty where needed. To address areas with peeling stain, we primed with Peel Stop for better adhesion.

Finally, we applied two coats of solid stain in Steel Wool by Benjamin Moore, sourced from Parma Heights. The result? A refreshed, long-lasting deck at a great value.

Large Fence & Deck Staining Project – All Under $6,000!

We recently completed a big staining job for under $6,000. First, we pressure washed the entire fence and deck—and even gave the house a thorough wash while we were at it.

Next, we applied two coats of stain to both sides of nearly 400 feet of fencing, then moved on to the deck. In total, we used over 30 gallons of high-quality stain—Rabbit Brown by Benjamin Moore in Parma Heights—built to last and look great for years to come.

To wrap things up, we also repaired the homeowner’s shed doors.
