We are fortunate for folks like Lindsey, keeping us busy with projects throughout the state of Maine! Excellent design work being done MaineDOT!!!

In honor of Engineers Week, meet Lindsey Merrifield! Lindsey joined MaineDOT in 2016 and now serves as a Hydrology and Hydraulics Engineer. She likes that every new project brings its own unique challenges and that she is constantly learning and adapting design standards so they can be built in the real world. While she doesn’t point to one single favorite project, Lindsey enjoys being able to drive around the state and see the results and impacts of the projects she has worked on, knowing she helped make Maine’s roads a little better.
