As part of expanding our downtown plant, Ernst Concrete purchased several homes for demolition. Before tearing them down, we partnered with the Jefferson County Fire Service Academy to offer these homes for training purposes. We met the new recruits, enjoyed lunch together, and appreciated the opportunity to support their training. The fire department will use the remaining five homes as they become available. Thanks to Heather Knight for coordinating the visit and refreshments. We also noticed the firemen's matching mustaches—a great display of team spirit on site.
