I want to take a second to apologize to those who follow me for cool welding projects or inspiration for their own, I'm on a job right now working a lot of hours and don't have a lot of free time to do my own stuff.

That being said, I do still try to take some time to finish personal projects and I'll share a few pictures of my latest. Nothing overly complicated, but I think it turned out well. No melted metal this time, but it's still a successful project in that I did everything I set out to do. The very first picture is a stock image of a mini-14 just to show what it looked like before I started working on it.

Aluminum welding.. lots different from what I'm used to, but I love a challenge. Starting to look pretty good.

On this page, I try really hard not to share anything that isn't work or welding related, but I feel like this is, in a way, work related. And I'll tell you the reasoning behind it, and you'll understand right off the bat if you've got a family. Be it dangerous, hard, inconvenient, be it whatever; providing for and keeping your babies safe will lead you to do a whole lot of things that you wouldn't otherwise do. Even the animals know it.
