Big dreams. Bigger moves. 🚧 ♻️

We welcomed two members of the Next 150 Construction team to Boyas for a behind-the-scenes tour of our MRF, giving them a look at the full scope of what we do, from beginning to end.

We’re building relationships, growing at lightning speed, and showing just how much goes on beyond the scale house. Thanks to Michael and Steve for taking the time to come out, ask questions, and see our team in action!

A big shout-out to Ray and Navarre Gibson for sharing their knowledge and the passion they bring to their work. Nobody tells the Boyas story better than the people helping build it every day!

Big dreams don’t build themselves. It takes hard work, grit, and the drive to show up every day and make it happen. 💪

☕ 🍩 💙 In honor of National Coffee with a Cop Day, we stopped by our local police department (Valley View Police Department) with coffee, donuts, and a heartfelt thank you!

This day is about bringing officers and the communities they serve together and we were grateful for the chance to show our appreciation.

To the men and women who serve and protect: we stand with you, appreciate you, and pray for your safety on every shift. May you always make it home safely to those who love you.

With gratitude from all of us at Boyas Recycling. 💙 🇺🇸

We’re excited to announce the continued expansion of the Pete & Pete family of companies with Valley View Total Waste Solutions — our Brokerage and Third-Party Special Waste Division. Valley View Total Waste Solutions was created to provide customers with a single, experienced partner for managing complex waste streams and environmental projects across the United States.

Our capabilities include:

• Hazardous and non-hazardous waste management

• Waste characterization and profiling

• Environmental cleanup and response

• Special waste transportation and logistics

• Treatment and disposal coordination

• Contaminated soils, liquids, drums and specialty waste streams

• Nationwide disposal and transportation solutions

What separates Valley View Total Waste Solutions is that we approach these projects with an operator’s mindset. We understand that our customers need more than someone to broker a load. They need a partner who understands the material, the regulatory requirements, transportation, disposal options, scheduling, cost and—most importantly—how to safely execute the work in the field.

The photos below are from one of our recent cleanup projects and represent exactly what this division was built to do: identify the challenge, develop the solution, and manage the project from characterization through final disposal.

Backed by the experience and resources of the Pete & Pete family of companies, Valley View Total Waste Solutions is ready to support customers throughout the United States with their most challenging special waste needs. One call. One solution. From characterization to final disposal.

You’ll rarely find Pete Jr. sitting on the sidelines.

He’s still here every day, working side by side with the team and stepping in wherever he’s needed. After all, you can take the driver out of the truck, but you can’t take trucking out of the driver.

One minute he’s planning the next major project or finding new ways to grow the companies; the next, he’s talking with customers, crunching numbers, helping fix a truck or handling a job most owners would pass along to someone else.

No task is too small, and no job is beneath him. He leads by being present, putting in the hours and expecting nothing from his team that he isn’t willing to do himself.

First one in, last one out and ALWAYS moving both companies forward. That kind of commitment and work ethic sets the tone for everything we do.

25 years later, we still remember.

We remember the lives taken too soon.
We remember the heroes who ran toward danger.
We remember the families forever changed.
And we remember a nation that stood together as one.

Today, we pause to honor every life lost and every act of courage witnessed on September 11, 2001.

May we never forget, not only what happened that day, but how deeply we cared for one another in the days that followed. 🇺🇸
