Our Little Story

Our founder Barney Eidson started Vale Electric in 1998 in Vale, Oregon.

He started out with just himself and one or two employees, and since grown to a workforce of more than 40 local and non-local licensed electricians alongside with Medium Voltage lineman. Vale has continued to grow, adding new projects and areas of specialty such as solar power fields, where we work alongside with Swinerton Renewable Energy and Construction Innovations, as we install underground and above-ground wire, working on projects as small as 3.5 megawatts and as large as over 80 megawatts.

Our team has been traveling around Oregon, Idaho, Washington and Wyoming becoming the first solar site in the state of Wyoming.
