Apparently because wood has to be seasoned, (dried) before burning and disposing of, according to a previous customer we did not keep our word by burning it. Within their reasonable time thoughts. However, to clarify for all customers in the future, when we dispose of removed trees, it goes to an open lot and sets for periods of time. Reasons, the wood cannot be burned right away. Trying to burn green wood before it’s properly dried is a waste of time and money. It takes sometimes up to a year or longer for larger diameter (36-72 inches) trees to be fully dried out.

Next, once the wood is ready, a decent 24-36 hour period has to be chosen for the proper conditions to be met to burn said debris effectively.

Large debris piles are not your average fires and send embers 75 feet in the air.
If it is too windy those embers can be blown to a neighboring property and cause secondary fires.

Every time we light one of our large debris piles, it needs to begin raining to make sure the ground is not conductive to heat and other embers.

A permit must be pulled per county, city, government regulations.

The closest fire department must be notified, to be on alert to be ready to react if homes, property are in the area and under a threat and hazard warning.

Someone must stay with fire once lit until it’s completely gone out. 24-36 hours usually.

This customer was given the price to dispose of the material.

Later hired us to take down the tree only.

Once half the debris was on the the ground, attempted to renegotiate us hauling the debris away for half of the originally quoted price.

We agreed to move debris out of yard, to an open field that would be suitable for disposal.

We came to an agreement. He saved money, we saved time.

He was told we would be back to burn the material for free at a later date when conditions were met to do so.

Neither of conditions have been met for this to fitting under the schedule.

Instead we get left a bad review for not taking care of it while our mountains have wild fires burning and the conditions are not favorable.

For over 30 years we have always serviced our clients with honesty and hardwork. We strive to do our best to help each and every person when asked. Sometimes we feel that is not enough.
