Shop with a Cop 2026

Calling All Sponsors! 🎄🚓

The holidays will be here before we know it, which means we’re getting ready for one of our favorite events of the year, Shop with a Cop! 🎁❤️

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, December 12th, 2026, and we’re looking for local businesses, organizations, and community members who would like to help make the day extra special for Vacaville youth.

Every sponsorship helps us provide gifts for local kids while giving them the chance to shop alongside our officers, make fun memories, and build positive connections with law enforcement. 👮‍♂️💙

It truly takes a community to make an event like this possible, and we’re so thankful for everyone who continues to support Shop with a Cop year after year.

We have an important mandatory meeting coming up, and we will be offering two different sessions to make it easier for families to attend.
This meeting is required if you would like your child(ren) to continue participating in any of our Youth Development programs, including PAL. 💙

Congratulations to our 2026 Willie Mac Award Recipients!

We are so proud to recognize Francisco O. and Coach Dave N. as this year’s Willie Mac Award recipients for Vacaville Junior Giants! 🧡🖤

Named after Giants legend Willie McCovey, the Willie Mac Award recognizes one outstanding youth player and one volunteer from each Junior Giants league who best represent the Four Bases of Character: Confidence, Integrity, Leadership, and Teamwork. ⭐️

⚾️ Francisco O. – Youth Recipient
Francisco stood out this season through his character, effort, sportsmanship, and what it truly means to be a Junior Giant!

🧡 Coach Dave N. – Volunteer Recipient
Coach Dave showed amazing dedication to our players and league, always leading by example and creating a positive experience for our youth.

We would also like to recognize some of our amazing volunteers who went above and beyond this season! 👏

What an amazing season! 🧡

Over the last 8 weeks, our Junior Giants players learned and practiced a new value each week that they could use both on and off the field.

💚 Health – Take care of your mind and body.
❌ Strike Out Bullying – Choose kindness.
📚 Education – Never stop learning.
💪 Confidence – Believe in yourself.
🤝 Teamwork – Show good sportsmanship.
🌟 Leadership – Lead by example.
❤️ Integrity – Do the right thing, even when no one is watching.

We are so proud of the dedication, effort, and positive attitudes our players brought to every practice and every game. Watching them grow as teammates, encourage one another, and build confidence has been the best part of the season.

At week 3, at Junior Giants, our Word of the Week was Strike Out Bullying. ❌

Our players learned about bullying, the importance of kindness, and how to make a difference by speaking up, treating everyone with respect, and being inclusive both on and off the field.

Each team also worked together to create posters showing what it means to stand against bullying. In this video, you’ll hear our players share how they can help strike out bullying in their schools, on their teams, and in their communities.

Together, we can create a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and included. ⚾️🤗
