Wishing team member, Ray Sandoval Jr, a Happy Work Anniversary!

Today marks 12 years that Ray has been with Cenizo! He began his career with us as a heavy equipment operator and has since advanced his skills to serve as a project supervisor and estimator for our team as well!

When asked about his career at Cenizo, he shared: "I enjoy the constant opportunities to learn, improve, and take on new challenges in construction while growing my skills and helping our team deliver quality results."

We are grateful to have Ray on our team!

We would like to wish Roberto Tovar Jr a Happy Work Anniversary!

Robert has been a valued team member at Cenizo for 14 years now - longer than any other team member other than our owners! 14 years ago, he was hired on as a skilled labor hand and he is now a project supervisor and finished heavy equipment operator for our team!

When asked about what he enjoys most about his career, he said "Watching a project take shape from dirt work and grading to a finished road, pad, or structure, and being trusted with responsibility making decisions that keep projects moving and on schedule."

We are grateful to have Robert on our team!

We are known for moving dirt. But some jobs require moving A LOT of dirt.

On this project, we had 5 tractor and scraper units moving material - each transferring an average of 25 cubic yards of material per pass!

Shoutout to Cody, our Fleet Manager and GPS Specialist, who always steps in where needed!

Although his role traditionally involves scheduling equipment repairs and maintenance and ordering parts from the back end, he can often be found helping with some of the actual hands-on mechanic work too.

We are thankful for Cody's willingness to support the team in any way he can, both in the office and in the field.

There's a reason they are called "bull" dozers - big, tough, and relentless!

On this project we are using both the front blade and the rear ripper to clear trees and underbrush, which don't stand a chance against this powerful machine.

Making progress on this commercial project that was featured not long ago!

Currently, we are working on grading out base material on the roadways in between the frequent rain storms we've been receiving in Uvalde.

This has been a fun and rewarding project where we've had the privilege of doing some clearing and improving some tanks and drainages for the property owner.

Each day of progress enhances this beautiful property more and more.

Shoutout to a couple of guys on our team whose roles are more behind the scenes but are integral to keeping us moving!

Thank you to our CDL truck driver, Robert, for hauling our equipment from job to job and thank you to our mechanic, Boyd, for keeping our fleet serviced and running!
