Did you know that something as small as a toilet running can cause a huge spike in your water bill? If you hear your toilet running it is important to get it fixed as soon as possible to try and prevent issues not only with the toilet but also your water bill. If your city water department contacts you about a high water bill one of the first things to check is your toilets. A few drops of food coloring in the stool tank water will help find unknown toilet leaks. If the colored water ends up in the bowl without you flushing the toilet you know that one of the tank parts is bad and water is leaking by. If you know of anyone wanting to do HVAC, plumbing, design, skilled trades, etc - anything related to construction - we can help! We not only provide scholarships, but we also mentor and make connections for future employment.
