A big day for Champaign County as Governor JB Pritzker visited Champaign to announce $35 million in Regional Site Readiness Program awards across Illinois—including a $3.8 million investment in sanitary sewer infrastructure serving Apollo Industrial Park.

The Atkins Group is proud to be part of the local partnership with the Urbana-Champaign Sanitary District, City of Champaign, and Champaign County Economic Development Corporation that helped evaluate Apollo’s wastewater infrastructure needs and lay the groundwork for this important investment.

We’re excited to see planning turn into action—and to help position our region for future industrial investment, growth, and high-quality jobs.
