I want to give a big shout out to the folks at Well Built Equipment up in Crete, Illinois. I purchased my spider lift from them and ever since then our lives have become so much easier. No more taking fencing down or the risk and liability involved with climbing. We can get this little workhorse literally anywhere and then get 75 ft. in the air to get a tree down or complete whatever task we need to perform. The folks at Well Built Equipment are the best I've ever worked with from their front office to my favorite mechanic David! They have various types and sizes of lifts for sale or rent. The limited drop zone job is completed and has been for a few days I've just been super busy and just now getting around to posting this. Now our customer was so happy he's giving us more work. We had some bad weather over a week ago but now it's time to get back out there and get after it. This tree was a challenge with a very limited drop zone so I posted a few more pictures than usual. It was definitely difficult due to the tight spaces below and little room for the lift as well. Photo credits go to Tristan Moore!

This Pin Oak tree is an example of the trimming and pruning we did a while back. By cleaning the tree out(getting rid of the dead, water sprouts and suckers) you create less wind resistance helping to avoid wind/storm damage to the tree. It will also improve the tree's health and overall looks not to mention vastly improving the amount of constant clean up to be done from falling debris. This is before and after of a recent project we did in Champaign. We started by taking out half of the trees for the customer behind this tree line. The customer on the other side was so happy with the results that he hired us to do his half. He had a plan and I'm happy we could help to make that happen. It turned out beautiful! BEWARE!
There seem to be quite a few new tree services in town and this is an example of some of the work being done. This is also an example of some terrible tree trimming, a literal open door to bugs and disease since it wasn't trimmed back properly so it could heal over itself. Now that whole limb is in jeopardy of eventually weakening to the point of falling on the home. I've been trimming trees for 20 years and enjoy having a project that leaves you with something that shows off the quality of your work. If you have trees that need trimmed off the house, or above your driveway, possibly dead limbs removed or anything else just give us a call for a free Estimate! We've upgraded to some electric chainsaws for less noise as well. We're one of the most reasonable tree services in town so be sure and call for an estimate before making a decision, Thank you!

We're removing another large silver maple tree in Urbana. It's been a busy spring and we're looking forward to a busier summer. I did a job for a regular customer and her neighbors were so impressed with our work and prices that we picked up 6 more jobs in the neighborhood. Our Spyder Lift can access a lot of tight spaces a bucket truck just can't get to or won't fit. We also can fit through a standard backyard gate, like we fit between this concrete pad and the building to get in the backyard. These trees were growing across the yard and out over the building and had begun to start dropping limbs damaging the roof. We were authorized by the homeowner to remove anything over their property. BTW we did clean the roof off with our leaf blower and we completely cleaned up the backyard as well when we were done like always.
