🎙️ A LITTLE BEHIND, BUT THE OKIE STANDARD IS STILL RAISING THE BAR! 💪🏼🔧
A couple of days behind, but if you missed it, Jason Kranz , Stephen Andrewand I sat down, shared some laughs, and talked about something that means a lot to us at The OKIE Standard — building strong community partnerships and investing in the future of our trades!
We discussed the recent LP (Liquefied Petroleum) Gas Certification and Testing Event we hosted at our office in coordination with the Oklahoma LP Gas Administration.
We provided breakfast, opened our doors, and welcomed local journeyman plumbers from across our community. And what made this event special wasn’t just the great turnout. It was seeing tradesmen from different companies come together, regardless of the name on their trucks, the logos on their shirts, or the brands they represent.
Because at the end of the day, we’re all working toward the same goal: becoming better at our craft, expanding our certifications, and providing safer, more knowledgeable, professional service to the communities that trust us.
This wasn’t just about The OKIE Standard or our guys earning another certification. It was about sharing an opportunity with our fellow tradesmen.
That’s what building a stronger trade community looks like!
And we’re just getting started! 👊🏼
Looking ahead to 2027, we’re excited about hosting more opportunities like this, including bringing in manufacturers and material representatives to provide specialized, hands-on training for the products and systems we install every day.
The more we understand the materials, equipment, and technology we’re working with, the better we can represent those manufacturers, ensure proper applications, and ultimately provide a higher standard of service to our customers.
We don’t have to wear the same logo to work toward the same standard.
That’s the kind of community partnership we believe in. When we invest in each other, we strengthen our trades, our businesses, and the community we all serve.
We also dropped a little insight into what 2027 has in store for The OKIE Standard, including some exciting changes that will help us continue growing, improving, and better serving our community. Stay tuned as we get closer!
