Absolutely loved bringing this piece to life at Metamorphosis this weekend. ✨I designed this mural specially for the festival, and for me, it is metamorphosis.

From an artistic point of view, she represents the moment of becoming. Her face is rendered in soft grayscale — the past self, quiet and still — while the world around her explodes in color. The teal leaves, lilac blooms, and golden light cut across her, not as decoration, but as transformation taking over.

The two birds are the soul in transition — one looking inward, one ready to take flight. Nature doesn’t just surround her; it grows _through_ her, blurring the line between woman and wild. That’s metamorphosis to me: when we stop resisting change and let ourselves bloom into something new.

So happy to reveal the first piece in a 4-mural series for a New Smyrna Beach vacation rental.

Robert and Patty wanted something special for their patio walls. We connected right away, and I’m grateful they trusted me with full creative freedom.

Mural #1: “The Shed Mural.” The textured wood and Florida heat were tough on straight lines and lettering, but challenges make the win sweeter. Huge shoutout to for making the best brushes ever, they made the job a breeze
