For Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2026, Musique Xpress faced a challenging new venue with just six meters of height, limited space, and strict weight restrictions.

Edward Avilés built a versatile rig featuring Maverick Storm 3 Profile, Maverick Storm 2 Beam Wash, Maverick Force 2 Profile, Color STRIKE M, COLORado PXL Bar 16, and ÉPIX Strip IP to bring together the precision of television, the depth of theater, and the energy of live spectacle.

“Perfect lighting for television, while at the same time creating theater and spectacle. We were able to master all three.”

COLORado Solo Edge was designed with thoughtful features that make life easier for designers, programmers, and crews, from hidden cable routing and an RGB identification marker to a stealth filter that minimizes unwanted spill and color, and is ready for both live audiences and cameras.

Because the behind-the-scenes details are often what make the biggest difference on show day.

Every LD has their essentials. 🎛️☕🎨

Console? Check. Gaff? Obviously. Coffee? Non-negotiable. And there's always that one fixture that somehow makes it into every rig.

Use unrival App to streamline fixture setup, patching, diagnostics, and firmware management, even when units are powered off.

Ryan Healey created a striking visual world for Sam Reid's performance as Lestat at the Beacon Theatre during the Tribeca Film Festival.

Blending rock concert energy with theatrical atmosphere, Healey used a low-slung ground package and bold monochromatic looks to keep the focus on the performers while reinforcing the character's dark, elegant aesthetic.

30 COLORado PXL Curve 12 fixtures formed the foundation of the stage design, creating graphic looks, texture, and depth from the deck.
