Ikon Construction, Inc. is a fast-growing residential and commercial builder based in Colorado that works with homeowner clients and private equity investors.
Our company was founded back in March 2020 and has grown exponentially over the last year and half. This incredible growth has been attributed to our ability to raise private capital for our own in-house projects, and our ability to effectively manage every residential job for homeowner clients at a commercial level of professionalism.
You will be reporting directly to the Managing Partner of Ikon Construction and will have the ability to learn about our construction management systems and our fundraising processes.
The Controller will lead all financial administration including business planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis.
General Job Requirements:
A minimum of a BS; CPA/CMA; MBA is a plus.
Experience using MS excel and Google Sheets.
Experience using Airtable or ability to learn new softwares preferred.
1-3 years of experience with auditing background, financial evaluation, and recommendation practice preferred.
Extensive experience managing finance (accounting, cash flow, budgeting, internal controls, analysis and reporting)
Construction industry background or experience with similar industries.
Skilled in examining, developing, reengineering, and recommending financial policies and procedures.
Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
Strategic Accountabilities & Practices:
Provide strategic recommendations to ownership based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis.
Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the senior management team.
Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with CES's strategic plan.
Engage the Managing Partner to align financial management with short and long-term financial planning and projections.
Engage the executive team around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model and operational delivery.
Direct Financial/Operational/Staff Accountabilities & Practice:
Oversee budgeting including the implementation of budgets, monitor progress of budget to actual, budget updates and modification, and present operational metrics both internally and externally.
Ensure finance staff maintains financial record systems in accordance with GAAP
Oversee the preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials and metrics
Prepare and communicate monthly and annual financial statements and analysis of the results.
Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting initiatives.
Coordinate and oversee all financial audit activities.
Review all formal finance procedures, processes, and administration, recommending improvements to the systems in place and managing the systems going forward.
Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
Develop and manage direct staff and guide multi-disciplinary teams outside direct span of control.
Engage other members of the senior management team to facilitate cross-department collaboration

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year PLUS BONUS BASED ON COMPANY WIDE SALES GOALS
