When life gives you angles, you look to the lines to embrace the connection points.
This Piedmont hillside home came with sweeping views of the bay and a few big design challenges.
đš Challenge one: lots of angles. A multi-angled ceiling and sharply sloped exterior walls made crafting a functional, inviting kitchen a true geometric puzzle.
đš Challenge two: the original kitchen was awkwardly placed at the center of the roof, completely disconnected from the heart of the home and those breathtaking views.
But challenges create opportunities. This project necessitated flow and harmony which we accomplished by connecting the kitchen and gathering areas to the homeâs original architecture. We leaned into the angles, opened up the space, and let the design lead the way.
Huge thanks to our incredible collaborators, architect William Holland and the talented interior design team at
To me, great design isnât just about aesthetics. It is about collaboration and connection between people, between spaces, and with the right team for your projectâs needs.
