Okay so I have to make a post about this. My clients hired a “professional” cabinet refinishing company to enhance their cabinets! What a disaster!! The cabinets DO talk to me and they say they were not cleaned or sanded. See the video where everything just comes off with an air gun. This should NEVER happen! When a refinisher blocks you off from seeing what they are doing, this is a huge red flag! I’ve been doing this for over 30 years. I know what I am doing. These people did not! All the doors and drawers were reinstalled upside down! The number of holes on these doors and drawers is unbelievable!! And paying for 5 star reviews is in my opinion lying! Whenever you see glowing 5 stars be a little leary. It’s okay to have less than 5 stars. See how the contractor replies to them. That’s what is important. And never, ever let the refinisher insist on the color. That’s the client’s choice. I cannot believe this company gets away with this HORRIBLE work. Thankfully my clients were able to settle out of court with this company. If you are thinking about having your cabinets refinished, ask these questions: 1. What is your process; 2. How long will it take (if only 2 or 3 days…red flag!!); 3. What product do you use and 4. Will you personally be doing the job or will you be sending untrained employees to do it.

We just wrapped up this beautiful lower level remodel and couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out! The walnut bar top, shelves, and refinished poker table in deep black look amazing together. The custom plaster finish on the fireplace wall is the perfect finishing touch!!
