Last week, INTREN, a MasTec company, was proud to sponsor the 2026 Women’s Energy Summit in Chicago, bringing together leaders from across the energy industry for a day of meaningful conversation, connection, and shared perspective.

Our team had the opportunity to hear from women leading organizations across the energy sector, connect with peers, and explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of energy.

It was especially meaningful to reconnect with two former INTREN CEOs, bringing together women who have helped shape our company’s history with team members representing INTREN today.

Thank you to the Women’s Energy Summit for creating a space for women in energy to learn, connect, and lead!

As we recognize Brake Safety Week, led by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA), we're reminded that vehicle safety starts before a truck ever reaches the road.

With a fleet of more than 20,000 vehicles across MasTec Power Delivery, we understand the critical role inspections, preventive maintenance, and safe operating practices play in protecting our drivers and the communities where we live and work.

This year's initiative places a special focus on drums and rotors, key components that help ensure commercial vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Brake Safety Week serves as an important reminder that roadway safety is a shared responsibility. Together, we can help improve commercial vehicle safety and protect everyone who shares our roads.

Safety can't wait.

We recognized National Stop on Red Week and the importance of making safe choices behind the wheel.

As we continue through National Traffic Awareness Month, that message remains just as relevant. Whether traveling between jobsites, commuting to work, or driving through the communities we serve, every decision on the road matters.

At MasTec Power Delivery, we're committed to fostering a culture of safety on the job, on the road, and everywhere in between.

Proud of our crews who support local communities during storm season. If you ever need fast, reliable storm response, our team is ready to help.

What a week! Yesterday I met with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency to discuss recovery efforts from the effects of the July 27 tornadoes. They threw out some staggering data…
- The average number of verified tornado events per year in Illinois is 40.
- Last year we hit an all time high of 140 tornados in the state.
- This year we have had 200 tornados in the state to date!

As we continue to recover from the most recent storm, gather additional resources, and I hear what other towns are experiencing, I can’t help but reflect on the week and how thankful I am for our incredible Village of Flossmoor, Illinois team. Their experience and agility is unparalleled and that matters in an emergency and in the weeks of cleanup that follow. I’m also thankful for linemen who continue to work around the clock to get our village back up and running and the neighbors who shared generators and other resources with their neighbors.

Public Works took a break from picking up debris today in order to clear catch basins (storm drain inlets) throughout town as we brace for additional rain this weekend. If by chance you see that one is missed or it becomes clogged, please help us out and clear it if you can.

Shout out to a couple of our heroes of the week…Hector and Cristobal were clearing out dense vegetation so that linemen could restore power.

Proud of the work delivered by the team at INTREN, a MasTec company, on this major transmission rebuild.

Crews completed a 140-mile rebuild of an existing 230 kV transmission line, upgrading it to a 345 kV system. The project involved replacing steel lattice towers and wood H-frame structures while navigating challenging terrain and complex crossings, including interstates, railroads, wetlands, gas pipelines, rivers, and existing powerlines.

From planning through ex*****on, safety remained at the forefront every step of the way.
