Not sure if you guys know this or not but Zinnias are what started my love for gardening. They are what got me hooked, I guess! I love them so much they get a spot every single year in my garden.

I feel like I need to do a little introduction on who we are and what we are here for. Some of you are new to my page, so, a little back story to Pat's Place. 💐

My mom, Patti Lott (Wise) grew up in Union, MI. Attended Kessington's one room school house (now Mason/Union library). Married my dad, Mike Lott and had three children. I'm Katie, the youngest! She always loved flowers. We would go every year to different greenhouses in the area and I would have her pick a few flats and I would plant them for her. The last few years of her life my daughter and I also grew so many beautiful stems and would make her beautiful arrangements all summer long. I feel connected to her still while I'm in the garden, so it helps me pass time and I want to always memorialize her. She was and still is so loved.

My Husband Tj Hull and I have been working so hard on everything and we can't wait to continue to grow with everyone!!

Everything I make off the flowers will go into seeds, or bulbs for the future of Pat's Place. I hope to keep growing in variety of flowers and hope you all stay and grow with me! 💐💛⚘🌷😍

A little garden update! 🫶

We have mostly tomatoes this year! 😅🫣
We also have some peppers! 🌶🫑
They are doing great and producing a lot! We did pull lots of flowers to encourage the plant to get bigger, so a lot of them are just now ripening! And of course I have to insert my zinnias, lily's, marigolds and the lone peeping sunflower 🌻

I'm already thinking about spring over here! If I would order a ton of bulbs and did a pop up in the spring, who would be interested?! 😍

Found an American dagger moth caterpillar on my house! They look cute but it's best to leave these alone!
