Awesome fall day to swap some light poles Maple Tree Place with and Blackfork Towing & Crane Service

Spent over three hours in Maple Tree Place today swapping out light poles with Williston Electric Service, George Shortsleeves and Alex MacDonald. 16 poles down and 16 up. We had the rhythm!

Very happy it went well. The crane truck has demanded some extra care lately. New batteries a month ago, blew a hydraulic hose mid job a couple of weeks ago (still finished the job, but it was messy), and then had a fuel problem last week, in traffic! (thanks so much Matt Lepage for towing it home)

We were asked to come up this options to repair this damaged sheetrock on the exterior soffit. One option was to patch and replace with sheetrock. Not my preferred method as it’s not a real long term, low maintenance material. The second choice was to install this product I’ve been long at for a while, Trusscore from ABC Supply. While the material cost was more, labor was decreased significantly. I addition the job site was much cleaner and was able to stay open to foot traffic the entire time. The customer should also realize the savings in the years ahead with less annual maintenance costs.

We were able to squeeze in this sign installation this morning before the rain. Heads up anyone headed to the transfer station in Williston, they have some new safety requirements when at the facility. Casella ☔️💦

Wow! Some weather we’ve seen the last few days. We were asked to help swap power meters out on this condo complex. Lots of moving pieces and coordination between materials, contractors, power company. Any chance of inclement weather could have potentially delayed the entire project. Everything fell into place and went perfectly. Always fun doing something different and working with good guys.

We spent this rainy day swapping this door at a retail shop in town. New door should last a long time with a completely composite frame.
