🌳🦇 You never know what you'll find inside a tree! 🦇🌳
A buddy of mine recently had a large branch fall and hit his wife's car, so he decided it was time to clean up the tree.
We discovered the tree was completely rotten in the center, so we decided the safest option was to remove it.
When we opened it up, we found something none of us expected—a whole bat colony living inside the hollow trunk! There were at least 40 bats tucked away inside.
This isn't the first time I've found bats living in a hollow tree, and I'm sure it won't be the last, but it's always amazing to see what nature has hidden away.
It's also a good reminder that a tree can look healthy on the outside while being severely decayed on the inside. Internal rot often isn't visible from the ground, and it can make a tree much more likely to fail during strong winds or storms.
If you have an older tree with dead limbs, hollow spots, mushrooms growing around the base, or one that just doesn't look right, it may be worth having it checked before it becomes a hazard.

🌳💪 This week has been hot, but the work doesn't stop! ☀️
It's been a week full of challenging tree removals, and this one definitely kept me on my toes.
This tree had: ⚠️ A power line running right through the crotch of the tree
⚠️ Another power line about 15 feet to the south
⚠️ A two-car garage directly below
⚠️ A cable line about 15 feet to the north
There wasn't much room for error, so every cut had to be carefully planned and executed. Jobs like this take patience, experience, and the right equipment to make sure everything comes down safely.
I'm proud to say we got it removed without any damage and another happy customer.
If you have a tree growing around power lines or close to your home, garage, or other structures, don't wait until it becomes a bigger problem.

🌳☀️ The heat hasn't slowed me down! ☀️🌳
It's been a hot week, but I'm still out here getting the job done.
Here's one of the many jobs I completed this week—an ash tree less than a foot away from a 100-year-old building in Tabor.
This wasn't a job you could rush. Every single cut had to be planned and made with precision to make sure the tree came down safely without causing any damage to the building. Jobs like this are where experience and patience really make a difference.
I take pride in treating every property like it's my own, whether it's a simple trim or a difficult removal in a tight space.

🌳💪 Finally back in action! 💪🌳

After being without my big truck for almost a month, it’s finally fixed and we are ready to work!

It’s been an eventful couple of days already. We’ve been staying busy knocking out a variety of jobs:

✅ Trimmed a couple trees
✅ Removed a large widow maker hanging in a tree
✅ Took down a small dead pine tree
✅ And now we’re working on filling in around a pool that was filled in years ago and has settled over time

No two jobs are ever the same, and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about this work. Whether it’s tree removal, trimming, storm damage, or helping improve your property, I’m always up for the challenge.

A big thank you to everyone who has been patient while my equipment was down and to everyone who continues to support my business!

🌪️🌳 What a day in Huron.

These are just a few of the pictures I managed to take today while assisting some relatives with storm damage in Huron. Honestly, this wasn't even the worst of it.

Nearly every street we turned down had trees on top of houses, power lines down, and yards and roads covered with fallen trees and limbs. The amount of damage was unbelievable.

Days like today are a reminder of just how powerful Mother Nature can be and why it's so important to keep an eye on the trees around your home. Dead trees, weak limbs, and trees growing too close to houses can become dangerous in a matter of seconds when severe weather hits.

If your property was affected by the storm, or you have a tree that doesn't look safe after all this wind, don't ignore it. A damaged tree can become even more dangerous during the next storm.

Stay safe out there, and thank you to everyone working to help their neighbors and clean up after today's storm.

🌬️🌳 We've had some strong winds and storms roll through lately—now is a great time to check your trees! 🌳🌬️

I've been getting several calls about large branches hanging up in trees and cracked limbs after these recent storms.

Even if a branch hasn't fallen to the ground, it could still be hanging by a small section of wood and become a serious hazard the next time the wind picks up.

After a storm, take a few minutes to look for:

✔️ Broken or hanging branches
✔️ Cracked or split limbs
✔️ Trees leaning more than usual
✔️ Dead branches that may have loosened

Don't wait until the next storm causes damage to your home, vehicle, or other property.

If you notice something that doesn't look right, I'd be happy to come take a look.
