Progress update on our latest custom kitchen!

Installation is complete on our Legacy-made custom cabinetry!

This rift-sawn oak kitchen features an oil-based stain and a polyurethane topcoat—the same type of durable finish used on gym floors. It creates an exceptionally tough, long-lasting surface while giving the cabinetry that rich, old-fashioned glow that really brings out the natural grain and character of the rift-sawn oak.
It’s a finishing process that takes more time, but the depth and character it gives the wood is hard to beat.

One of our favorite features is the custom curved range hood, designed by Michele Rosenboom Design and built by Legacy Cabinets & Design. It really gives this kitchen a one-of-a-kind focal point!

Still to come are the quartz countertops, backsplash, appliances, and finishing touches, but we’re getting close!

Bathroom transformation from start to finish!
This custom double vanity was built right here in our shop and designed specifically for this space. We usually try to build bathroom vanities in one piece, but this one had to be built in two pieces just to fit into the room!
This project was built to a custom depth and width, with a custom finish to bring it all together. That's the beauty of custom cabinetry — it's built specifically for your space.
We love seeing a project go from an idea, to creation in the shop, to a completely finished space!
If you're considering new cabinetry for a kitchen, bathroom, built-in, or another space in your home, we'd love to help bring your ideas to life.

Here's a little of what we've been working on in the shop!
I've been having some fun using AI to come up with design ideas, then drawing everything up in our cabinet software where we can tweak every little detail. From there, the software generates our cut lists and we build everything right here in the shop.
This office is going to have glass door bookshelf ends with upper cabinets, and behind the desk we're building a built-in file cabinet with uppers along with a locking built-in gun cabinet. I think it's going to turn out pretty sweet!
One of my favorite parts of custom cabinetry is that we're not limited to standard sizes or layouts. We can build exactly what the customer wants and make the most of the space.
I'll post some progress pictures as this one comes together!
