It was 5 years in the making, but the Copperas Cove Animal Care Center is ready for business. Without the commitment of Deputy Chief Brian Wyers and the City Council it might not have happened. The contractor is making a few final adjustments, but it has been caring for and adopting dogs and cats for a month now.

I am saddened to recently learn that Mr. Bobby Helpinstill passed away. Bobby worked at East Texas Acoustical for many years and was an invaluable resource to me and Brevard Architecture for decades. Bobby had a very recognizable voice. I enjoyed speaking to him and collaborating with him.

I've designed a lot of churches, but never been asked to participate in a Catholic Consecration in which the "building" becomes a real church. Feeling very blessed handing over the plans and keys to Bishop Kelly with Father Jesse.
