Tips for your plumbing while you go on vacation!
#1 - Sprinkle baking soda and lemon juice down kitchen drain to freshen the smell while not in use.
#2 - Check water heater for leaks and water in the pan.
#3 - Check under sinks/lavs & around toilets for leaks.
#4 - Shut off main water valve to house.
#5 - If you have a house sitter, give them our phone number in case of emergency.

It's the first day of the month! Follow this monthly checklist to help you find a tiny problem before it becomes a BIG problem.

1. Run hot & cold water at each fixture
2. Visually inspect fixtures for drips
3. Flush toilets and listen for refill and shutoff
4. Partially fill tubs/sinks and then pull drain plug
5. Look in cabinets under fixtures for leaks
6. Check date on any water filters
