LLHH will be closed August 27-30 for our annual family vacation. We will do our best to get everyone mowed ahead of time. How far we get will heavily depend on how the weather treats us through the week. Thank you all!

Due to the extreme heat, the extended dry conditions, and now wildfire smoke moving in, no mowing will be completed this week except for the handful that were not done last week. It is just not worth the risk to myself and my crew. There is not much rain in the forecast either so I don’t think anything is going to grow much anyway. We will be out as usual next week. Stay safe and hydrated everyone!

Well we tried to beat the rain today but it came too quick. We’ll try again tomorrow as it looks like poo up storms possible for the majority of the daytime today. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

This week, with the extreme heat and dryness we’ve had, we will only be mowing the properties that really need it. Also, Friday customers will hopefully be done Thursday afternoon so the crew can have an extra day for the holiday. Stay safe and hydrated everyone!

Due to the wetness and immense amounts of storm damage, there will be no mowing today.

What a week it’s been. Elsa really gave it to us. I am truly blessed to have had the assistance I had from several great family members and friends. There’s no possible way I would have made it through without them. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your help. Alex, Josh E, Brayden, Eli, Jaden, Jessica, Jonah, Brad, Brad’s buddy(sorry I didn’t get your name) I truly appreciate all you did to help.
I also want to thank my customers for being so patient and understanding with this storm.
Without great helpers and customers Lawn, Land, & Helping Hand would not exist.
I’m hoping it is now time to welcome in spring🤞🏻.

Still have a few left to get to. It’s now almost midnight so we’re going to take a nap for a few hours and then will be back at it.

Very hard to get around right now. It will be a while before I can’t get to many of you. I apologize but the city is a mess.

03/16/2026

Long update: conditions are beyond terrible out there. We will be out this afternoon. For now, we’ll mainly be focusing on making it possible to get out. It will not be easy and will not be cleaned up as well as a normal storm would be. I may have to give the city a little bit to get ahead just to be able to pull the trailer with skidsteer around. Once we make sure everyone can get out, we will come around again and cleanup more if needed. This will not be a quick process and me and my helpers are just human. We can only do so much for so long and will have to rest. We will push as hard as we can for as long as we can.
I will not be answering the phone during the cleanup as that always delays me. Please bear with us.
Thankfully there is warmer temps coming so hopefully this will be our last hoorah.
March 20th I will be having surgery and will be down temporarily. I should be good to go by the time dethatching starts.

We got many done for one round. If you have a more skid steer friendly driveway we may not have done you yet. We will be back out tomorrow morning. IT WILL BE SLOW GOING FOR CLEANUP!! Please be patient with us. If you were done today you likely will be done closer to the end tomorrow. I wish I could do everyone at once but we all know it just doesn’t work that way. Stay safe everyone.
