Let’s keep the birthday train rolling at Cembase! 🚂🥳

Help us wish a huge (slightly belated) Happy Birthday to our senior estimator, Greg, who celebrated last Friday! It turns out last week was officially Estimator Week here, since Matt also celebrated his birthday on Monday (hope you caught his shoutout earlier)! 🎈 we promise we didn't short-change them on the actual cake!

Speaking of our incredible team, we want to give a massive shoutout to every single person at Cembase. We hope you all had an amazing Labor Day weekend! We talk a lot about our projects, but the real secret to our success is the absolute powerhouse of people working behind the scenes. Your relentless hard work, dedication, and hustle are what keep Cembase on top, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do!

To kick off the long weekend, the crew and our amazing spouses knocked it out of the park at the Akron RubberDucks game last Friday night! ⚾️🦆 There’s nothing better than unwinding together, sharing some laughs, and bonding outside of work. Having our spouses there made it even more special—after all, they’re a huge part of the Cembase family too! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came out, and thank you team for making us proud every single day! 🎉✨

Happy Birthday to one of our foremen, Keith! 🎉🎂

Keith has been down on a long-distance, out-of-state job for quite a while now, putting in the hard work and dedication to get things done right. On top of holding down the fort away from home, he’s been busy passing the baton—training up a new team member to step in and take over down there so he can finally make his way back.

Keith, we can't thank you enough for your leadership, patience, and commitment to the Cem-Base team. We appreciate everything you’ve done on this job, and we’re all looking forward to having you back closer to home!

Help us wish Keith a very Happy Birthday! 🥳👏

🎉 Help us wish Kirk a belated Happy Birthday!

We’re a little late getting this posted since Kirk’s birthday was over the weekend, but we definitely didn’t want to let it go by without giving him a shoutout!

Kirk has been a valued part of the Cem-Base team for quite some time. He’s a hard-working, dependable operator who consistently shows up, gets the job done, and does a great job day in and day out.

We truly appreciate Kirk and everything he brings to the team. Happy Belated Birthday, Kirk! We hope you had a great birthday weekend and have a great year ahead! 🎂🎈

🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COREY! 🎂

Today, we are sending the happiest of birthday wishes to our incredible Material Coordinator, Corey!

If you’ve ever seen a job run perfectly on schedule, you have Corey to thank. Every single day, he’s the logistics wizard behind the scenes making sure our materials get exactly where they need to be, right when they need to be there.

But Corey doesn't just keep Cem-Base running like a well-oiled machine. Recently, he stepped up to the plate to help our sister company, NAJ, build and implement brand-new systems to keep their operations running smoother than ever. That kind of leadership and teamwork is exactly what makes him such an invaluable asset to both of our teams.

Corey, thank you for your hard work, your constant hustle, and for always stepping up when we need you. We hope you have an awesome birthday and a great weekend celebrating!

It’s been a tough week to be working outdoors across Ohio and our neighboring states. With the Canadian wildfire smoke triggering massive air quality alerts, the conditions out on the job sites have been brutal. We want to give a massive shout-out to our stabilization crews and operators who are dealing with the hazy skies and heat. Our stabilization jobs are still pushing forward, but we are making sure we do it the right way—without risking our team's health. If you are working outside or traveling this weekend, please monitor the local air quality and take it easy out there. Have a safe weekend, team!
