Good morning friends and family!

First, let me apologize for my absence over the last few months. As it often does, life decided that we needed to focus on family.
We are still building beautiful, custom furniture as you can see, and this set was fun to design and bring to life!

Summertime is coming, and that means the Farmers Market will open soon (Mother's Day weekend!), and we will be set up there, as well as a few other, and even more exciting, new ventures! Stay tuned!

To those who have donated, shared, encouraged, or simply believed in us… thank you. You didn’t just give money — you gave us momentum when we needed it most. You helped keep a dream alive. You reminded us why we love this community so deeply.
We’re getting very close now. We only have permits and a few final pieces left before we can open our doors again. We’re hoping to be up and running within the next couple of weeks, but we could still use a little help getting across the finish line. This month already feels special. We bought tickets back in February for the Idaho’s Best Awards, and we’ll be there today — something we never take for granted. And in just 7 days, Ryan and I celebrate 21 years of marriage. Through every high and every hard season, we’ve stood together… and now we get to rebuild together, with all of you beside us.
We love what we do. But more than that — we love the people we do it for. This business has always been about more than food. It’s about community, connection, and showing up for one another. You’ve shown up for us, and we promise to come back stronger, better, and ready to serve you again.
We are truly blessed to be part of a community that lifts each other up. That’s why we’ll never stop trying to be a light — whether it’s big or small. Because it really does take a community to help one.

As the days get colder early mornings in the shop aren't as much fun. So sometimes going to work doesn't always look like getting dressed and leaving the house. Sometimes it looks like a 2nd cup of coffee, and scrolling Pintrest for ideas, and prepping the schedule for the next week.

I sure didn't, and that makes me incredibly sad.

Chair #1 is ready for teaking!
I wanted to make these look more "finished" so I covered all the support structure with slats, and then capped the edges with the curved slats from the center of the spools.

The seat and back will be teak oiled, then the whole chair will be sealed with several coats of polyurethane.
