I have once again accrued accreditation as a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture and I have maintained that since 2008. This along with my degree in Forestry is why I enjoy speaking to homeowners regarding their trees. I love trees. Sure, there is always something to learn!

It has been a busy summer and a true blessing to perform these projects in Norman, Newcastle, Blanchard, Moore, and Tuttle. I have removed multiple trees from those wind storms in July with stump grinding. I have pruned up trees that were damaged and needed a crown thinning. I have pruned trees for needed maintenance, weight reduction, crown raise and thinning die clearances above sidewalks, driveways, and roofs.

I was able to provide pruning to these trees in Norman. The large Oak tree had some major wind damage from the 4th of July storm. It was good to get back to pruning. I pruned the Magnolia trees with a crown raise and pruned them back from the house. The Chinese Pistache tree is the customers favorite tree as it shades their lovely back patio, so o pruned it with a cleanup and raised the canopy up off of their pergola. The Sweetgum was a canopy raise and thinning to relieve the weight in the canopy. The Oak in the front yard was a canopy raise to reduce the weight, especially over the house. Also, there was a large broken limb about 30 ft. up in the tree that had to be pieced out and removed out of the tree. There was some pucker factor this morning, but with some patience, I got it done.

Another Bradford Pear bites the dust! Also, did a slight weight reduction and a canopy raise on another one. This is on the east side of Newcastle.
