πŸ‘€ Did you know a sloped yard can change how your fence is built?

There are 2 common ways to run a fence down a hill:
1️⃣ Stepped: Each section stays level and steps down with the slope. This can create small gaps underneath the panels.
2️⃣ Racked: The rails angle with the slope while the pickets remain vertical. This creates a more continuous look and works best on gentle to moderate slopes.

A slope can also affect your gate. Swing direction and ground clearance need to be planned around the grade before the posts are set.

πŸ‘‰ Since every yard is different, a site visit lets us evaluate the slope and recommend the approach that makes the most sense for your property.

🌑️ Another stretch of hot weather is on the way, and for many Oklahomans, working outside isn't optional.

Construction crews, airport workers and other outdoor employees are adjusting schedules, taking more breaks and sometimes ending work early when the heat becomes too dangerous.

EMSA is also preparing for a busy weekend, reminding everyone to stay hydrated, limit time outside during peak heat, and recognize the signs of heat-related illness.

See how workers are adapting to the heat and the safety tips officials want everyone to follow. ⬇️

Did you know many HOAs in the Tulsa area require round rail fencing?

What a lot of homeowners do not realize is that treatment processes changed in 2008, and as a result, many round rail posts and rails do not last as long as older material. That means repairs and replacements are becoming more common.

The good news: Allied Fence has round rail materials in stock and can help with your project. Whether you need to replace a single post, swap out a rail, or take on a larger repair, we can cut materials to the size you need. We can even stain them for a finished look.

For DIY homeowners, we also offer convenient shopping hours β€” open until 6 PM on Thursdays and Fridays, plus Saturday mornings 7:30 to 11:30 am.

Have a repair coming up? Stop by and let Allied Fence help you get the right materials for the job.
