1. Discolored or rusty hot water, corrosion inside the tank.

Two reasons.

1. It's corrosive. Repeated use weakens pipe joints, corrodes metal fittings, and eats away at seals inside the pipe. This is especially problematic in older Tulsa homes with cast iron or galvanized plumbing.
