October is officially Careers in Construction Month in Oklahoma!
We're proud to see the State of Oklahoma recognize the important role construction professionals play in building our communities, strengthening our economy, and shaping our future.
At Mill Creek Lumber & Supply Company and Wood Systems, Inc., we believe the future of our industry starts with the students sitting in today's classrooms and training in CareerTech programs.
That's why we're passionate about supporting technical education and creating opportunities for young people to discover rewarding careers in the skilled trades.
From judging competitions and providing building materials for SkillsUSA, to sponsoring and participating in Build My Future events throughout our markets, we're committed to doing more than talking about workforce development. We want to be part of it!
We're especially proud to work alongside dedicated educators and industry advocates like Greg Neely, CareerTech Technical Program Specialist, who help connect students with the skills, opportunities, and people that can shape their futures.
These students aren't just the future of construction. They're the future of our industry, and we're proud to invest in their success.
Here's to the next generation of builders, craftsmen, innovators, and industry leaders!
