Pool people. DO NOT drain the pool because you think it is too full. If you lower the water with as much rain as most of us have gotten over the last day, it will allow ground water to get under the pool and float the liner or pop a fiberglass pool out of the ground. Water is a powerful force and any chance it has to push into an empty hole, you won’t stop it.

Even though the weather may be chilly, pool season will be here very quickly! Come stock up on pool and spa chemicals the entire month of March. All chemicals 15% off, excluding salt and sand. With freezing temps in the forecast, if you winterized your pool you are in good shape. If you did not winterize and do not have freeze protection, make sure you are running 24 hours until the temps rise above freezing. In the event you lose power and your pool isn't winterized, remove the cap from the bottom of the filter tank, take the plug out of the pump to drain, take the plug out of the heater (if applicable) and if you have a salt system, take the cell out of line. Any unions you have in plumbing, loosen those. Don't worry about anything underground at this point or the pool itself. Drain the equipment and turn off breakers and you'll be fine most likely.
