We are hiring!
We would like to add another estimator/sales person in our office. Ideally, would like candidate to step into the fold and work with our team to build job cost breakdown for a complete estimate and turn into new projects.
Starting pay is $50-75k with lots potential. The more you bring to the table as an asset to the team the more you can make.
Must Have Job Requirements
· Must have Some basic construction experience, fence/steel industry specifically.
Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Must have strong communications skills.
Must have a basic understanding of reading plans/blue prints.
· Able to coordinate efforts smoothly and diplomatically with other departments throughout the company
· Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed
· Can confidently, patiently and positively juggle competing demands and multiple tasks.
· Mentally and emotionally hungry, energetic, focused, flexible and calm.

Estimating Experience
· Complete Understanding of the Contract Documents
· Complete Understanding of the Plans, Specs and Scope of Work
· Identify inclusions/exclusions
· Site Visits if required
· RFP’s to subs and vendors
· Compile Quantity Take Offs
· Subcontractor and Vendor quotes review and organized to optimize cost versus service
· Prepare a Schedule including mobilization & durations
· Potential VE's – advantages
· Ensure bid compliance with all requirements
· Complete bid with ample time for a thorough bid review
· Communicate Bid Results with Management
· Negotiate pricing and scope/ Begin contract documents with owner
· Prepare and attend project hand off meeting
· Discuss high risk items, any potential issues with the bid
Pre-Construction Experience
· Gather, Understand and Execute Owner Contract
· Complete Understanding of the Contract Documents/ requirements
· Complete Understanding of the Bid
· Complete Understanding of the Plans, Specs and Scope of Work
· Track and log all change orders
Construction Experience
· Quality Control – Oversight/ Involvement
· Attend project meetings with Owner
· Monitor and communicate progress with Team members
· Job Cost Tracking & Monthly Forecast
· Review owners pay application
· Review Sub Pay outs and facilitate
· Identify issues and resolve timely
· Prepare and submit change orders
· Review and Discuss RFI's/ design builds
