FREE seeds available at GreenBee's open garden THIS SATURDAY!

Tufted evening primrose is a low maintenance, high reward plant. It stays low to the ground and creates these beautiful, large flowers. Since it is a night-blooming plant, the nectar of these flowers feeds bats and moths!

Come get your free seeds tomorrow and support your nighttime pollinators. Perfect for spooky season!

Whoo are youu? ✨️🐛

It's hornworm season! Noticed several of these on our Desert Willow tree this morning. And, no, I'm not alarmed. I'm thrilled to see all the future sphinx moths enjoying this tree (which is a volunteer also!).

Wondering if you have these magnificent caterpillars too? Look for their "frass" on the ground. And then look around carefully because they really blend in.

💙 to be getting rain right now, and
🩵 have a rain tank, and
💦 it's full...

Go get wet! ✨️
Take that hose from your tank and put it on a trickle under a tree. The tree will get an extra deep soak while you manage to keep catching that liquid treasure. (Just remember to turn it off again. I like using my oven timer.)
