🏠 Ever wonder what’s hiding underneath your popcorn ceilings? 👀

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at what a home can look like once the popcorn is removed 🎨

Depending on the age of the home and who originally finished the drywall, ceilings underneath popcorn are usually anywhere from a Level 3 finish… to sometimes nearly ready for paint.

In these homes, we’re:
✔️ Covering & protecting everything
✔️ Scraping the popcorn
✔️ Repairing imperfections
✔️ Bringing ceilings to a smooth Level 4 finish
✔️ Oil priming to block smoke staining & discoloration
✔️ Finishing with fresh ceiling paint 💯

This particular home needed extra attention due to years of smoke absorption and some staining left behind from the removal process.

A LOT goes into properly removing popcorn ceilings… but once finished, it completely changes the feel of the home 😮‍💨

💡 Midweek homeowner tip 👀

Before you repaint a room…
look at it in BOTH daylight and nighttime lighting first 🎨

A color that looks perfect at 2 PM can look completely different once the lamps turn on at night 😅

That’s why testing samples in multiple lighting conditions makes a HUGE difference before committing to a full repaint 💯
