One toilet. One backup. TOTAL devastation. 💀🤢

What started as a sewage backup turned into a much bigger remediation project.

By the time we arrived, heavy sewage contamination had spread throughout the bathroom and into other areas of the basement—and what you’re seeing here wasn’t even the worst of it.

This is the part of sewage cleanup most people never see.

The removal. The contamination. The cleanup. And eventually… the transformation.

🎬 Part 2 coming soon 👀

How bad do you think the rest of the basement was? 👇

⚠️ VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED

We’ve cleaned up some pretty questionable things over the years… but sometimes even we don’t know exactly what we’re looking at. 🤢

Whatever this mystery goo once was, it had been sitting there long enough that scraping it off was the only way forward.

And yes… it was every bit as satisfying and disgusting as it looks. 😂

So we’re letting the internet decide: What do YOU think we’re scraping up? 👇

Wrong answers are highly encouraged. 😂

“Why don’t you just throw the mattress away?”

This has easily been one of the most common questions on our unattended-death cleanup videos.

And trust us—we’d LOVE to. 😂

But biohazard disposal isn’t always as simple as putting something in a dumpster. On this particular job, our disposal partner required the contaminated material to fit inside approved containers with specific weight limits.

Then comes another great question:

“If that’s true, why can bloody tissues, feminine hygiene products and similar items go into regular household trash?”

That’s where things get interesting. The amount and type of contamination, who generated the waste, local requirements, and how it’s being handled can all matter.

There’s a lot more happening behind the scenes of a biohazard cleanup than most people ever get to see.

What have you always wanted to ask a biohazard cleaner? 👇

Drop your question below—we’ll answer some of the best ones in future videos.

Every scene is someone’s story, and every cleanup is handled with professionalism, respect, and attention to detail.

We share these behind-the-scenes videos to educate people about what biohazard remediation actually involves and why specialized training and proper procedures matter.

⚠️ Viewer Discretion Advised

Every unattended death scene represents a person, a family, and a difficult situation that no one hopes to face.

In this case, neighbors reported a persistent odor, leading to a welfare check that discovered the resident had been deceased for several weeks.

After first responders complete their work, the responsibility of safely cleaning, disinfecting, and restoring the affected area begins. It’s a job that requires specialized training, proper protective equipment, and respect for everyone involved.

We share these videos to educate the public about what biohazard remediation actually involves—not to sensationalize someone’s loss.

If you’ve ever wondered what happens after emergency responders leave, let us know in the comments.

If you or someone you know is facing a similar situation, we’re available 24/7 to help.

Think this is just a warehouse cleanout? Think again.

What looked like a routine cleanout was actually a rodent contamination cleanup. Hidden throughout the room were rat droppings that completely changed how the project had to be approached.

Sometimes the biggest hazard isn’t the clutter you can see—it’s what the clutter has been hiding.

Would you have recognized this as more than just a messy warehouse?
