🛡️ FROM DATED WALLPAPER ➡️ TO A FULL COLOR-DRENCHED TRANSFORMATION 🛡️ PART 2

Now THIS is a before & after. 😮‍💨🔥

We recently gave this primary bedroom a complete transformation, and there was a whole lot more involved than simply changing the color.

The room originally featured wallpaper both above and below the chair rail, along with a wallpaper border wrapping the room beneath the crown molding. Before we could even think about paint, the existing wallcoverings had to come down and the underlying surfaces had to be properly restored.

🔨 THE PROCESS:

▪️ Removed the existing wallpaper and decorative border
▪️ Sanded and prepared the underlying surfaces using our Festool dust-extraction sanding system
▪️ Sealed exposed/torn drywall paper with Zinsser GARDZ
▪️ Skim coated the walls to correct imperfections and create a smoother, more uniform surface
▪️ Sanded the repaired walls again for the final finish
▪️ Primed the walls & ceiling with Benjamin Moore Fresh Start
▪️ Primed the doors, crown molding, chair rail, baseboards & trim with Benjamin Moore INSL-X STIX

And then came the fun part… 🎨

Instead of breaking everything up with traditional white trim, we went all in with a FULL COLOR DRENCH.

Walls.
Ceiling.
Crown molding.
Chair rail.
Baseboards.
Window & door trim.
Doors.

🔥 ONE COLOR. THE ENTIRE ROOM. 🔥

The finishing color is Benjamin Moore Bewitched CSP-450, using Scuff-X Matte for a rich, sophisticated finish with added durability.

The difference is dramatic. What started as a dated, wallpaper-heavy bedroom now feels deeper, more intentional and completely transformed.

✨ Interior Transformation | Wallpaper Removal + Color Drench ✨ PART 1

This room took a full prep process before the final color ever went on the walls — and that’s what makes the finish stand out. 🎨

We removed wallpaper from above and below the chair rail, sanded the walls smooth with our Festool sanding system, sealed exposed drywall paper with Zinsser Gardz, skim-coated the walls, and sanded again for a clean, smooth finish.

From there, we primed the walls and ceiling with Benjamin Moore Fresh Start, and used Benjamin Moore Stix primer on the trim, crown molding, baseboards, and doors for proper adhesion.

For the final look, the entire room was color drenched in Benjamin Moore Bewitched CSP-450 using Benjamin Moore Scuff-X Matte — walls, ceiling, trim, crown molding, baseboards, and doors all brought together in one bold, dramatic finish.

✨ Deck Restoration & Paint Refresh ✨

This deck needed more than a quick coat of paint — it needed proper prep, cleaning, repairs, and a finish built to last. 🎨

We started by pressure washing and cleaning the surface with SuperDeck Revive, then rebuilt portions of the columns, sanded everything down, and brought the whole space back to life with premium Sherwin-Williams products.

For the final look, we used Sherwin-Williams Rock Sash Green on the deck floor, railings, and pillar accents, paired with Sherwin-Williams Shoji White on the pillars and spindles. The result is a clean, classic exterior finish that fits the home beautifully.
