October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — a time to recognize those impacted by breast cancer and reinforce the importance of awareness, screening and support.

In construction, we know the strength of any structure starts with a solid foundation. When it comes to our health, that foundation includes staying informed and taking proactive steps.

Approximately 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime, making awareness and early detection especially important.

This month, we wear pink in support of the survivors, those currently fighting, the families and friends standing beside them, and the lives lost to breast cancer.

Together, we can help build awareness, strengthen support and encourage action.

🌟 Join our One Turn-Key Team! 🌟Kais-AIR® is hiring a full-time electrical proposals engineer located in Holly, Michigan!

This role will support the development of accurate cost estimates for electrical systems and equipment integrated into custom mechanical equipment and modular infrastructure. Responsibilities include estimating electrical components for air handling units, dehumidification systems, electrical skids, and data center infrastructure, while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and sales teams to develop customer proposals.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience), 1–3 years of relevant experience, and strong electrical drawing interpretation, Excel, and cost analysis skills.

Experience with industrial electrical systems, control panels, modular equipment, or data center infrastructure is preferred.

From November 4–6, Kaiser Enterprise and Universal Piping Industries will be at The Westin Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee, connecting with leaders from across the stainless steel and special alloys industry.

Organized by SMR Events in cooperation with World Steel Dynamics, the conference will explore market trends and the industry’s North American and global outlook.

The competition provided an opportunity for apprentices to put their training to the test, demonstrate their craftsmanship, and showcase the skills that will shape the future of our industry.

As part of our commitment to supporting skilled trades education and workforce development, our teams contributed tools and Kaiser Enterprise and Kaiser Industrial merchandise to recognize the participating apprentices.
