Motor City Door Company was originally established in 1961, located in Detroit, MI. Carnagie purchased the small company with a plan and a vision to build an honest, reliable, family oriented small business. In keeping with that vision, he brought on his eldest son from the beginning with the hopes of continuing his legacy. Over the years, he added another son, daughter, brother, grandchildren and
countless other family members to the burgeoning business to aid in fulfilling this dream. Through hard work and determination the company proved strong enough to survive several economic recessions. Since its formation, the company has moved locations several times, having found a permanent home in Sterling Heights since 1991. Today, Motor City Door has established itself as one of the top residential garage and commercial door companies in Metro Detroit, Michigan. We lost our founder in the summer of 2017 but carry on his vision and dream with his eldest son at the helm along with all of our dedicated family members and employees.
