Leaves of Kindness: Free Cleanup for a Neighbor in Need

Please share. We’ve done this in the past, and we’re glad to be able to bring it back again this year.
Arm-Strong Landscaping LTD. is looking for nominations for three people in the Fluvanna and Lake Monticello area who could use a helping hand.

If someone you know is unable to do the work or can not afford the $350–$500 it cost to have their leaves cleaned up and vacuumed, please send us a private message with their name and a little information about why this service would help them.
If your nominee is selected, we’ll then need a phone number or email for the person we should contact to coordinate the service.

We’ll provide the leaf cleanup and disposal free of charge to help take one thing off of their plate this season.

 Delivery costs continue to rise. We’re doing our best to keep our prices as steady as possible, but we’ve had to add a fuel surcharge to deliveries. The surcharge is based on the distance of each delivery. Thank you for understanding.

Another one in the books! Arm-Strong Landscaping LTD. does it again. 💪

As you can see, the transformer sits only about a foot from the face of this retaining wall. With the depth and location of the buried powerline unknown, rebuilding it was a challenge. Other contractors proposed relocating the line and  using different materials, which would have raised the cost.

Our crew put in the labor to locate what was underground and rebuild the wall with Belgard Diamond Pro block. The previous wall was leaning due to the hydrostatic pressure—(the pressure water builds up behind a retaining wall when it can’t drain away). That’s why it did not last very long. We built this one with the proper gravel, drainage, and geogrid to help it stand strong for many years to come.
