This home foundation features Ultimate Stone home of Centurion Stone of the Carolinas LedgeStone – Gray, bringing a great combination of texture and character to the exterior. The gray tones pair perfectly with the board-and-batten siding and dark windows, giving this home a clean, finished look.

A big thank you to the Windstone team for the opportunity to be a part of this project! We appreciate the continued partnership and trust in Morris Stoneworks.

🎉 Celebrating 1 Year with Mason! 🎉

Today, we want to use our page for something a little different. Instead of showcasing the stonework, projects, and craftsmanship we’re proud of, we want to recognize one of the people behind the scenes who helps make it all possible.

Today marks one year with Morris Stoneworks for Mason Russ, our Yard Equipment Operator!

At just 21 years old, Mason has become an important part of our team. Over the past year, we’ve watched him grow in his position, take on more responsibility, and continue learning what it takes to keep our yard, equipment, materials, and day-to-day operations moving.

A lot of the work Mason does happens behind the scenes, but that doesn’t make it any less important. His efforts help our drivers get where they need to go, our crews get the materials they need, and our entire operation run more smoothly.

More importantly, we appreciate Mason the person. We’re thankful for his hard work, his personality, the relationships he’s built with everyone here, and the role he has taken on as part of the Morris Stoneworks family.

Mason, thank you for everything you’ve contributed during your first year with us! We appreciate you, we’re proud to have you on our team, and we look forward to watching you continue to grow in the years ahead.

Please help us congratulate Mason on his 1-Year Anniversary with Morris Stoneworks! 👏

Happy 1 Year, Mason!

Brown Flagstone makes a statement on this driveway in Davidson, NC!

Our team recently completed this Brown Flagstone driveway apron and walkway, tying the new concrete driveway into the home with the warm, natural colors and character.

We’re especially thankful to these homeowners for choosing Morris Stoneworks for the second time. There’s no better compliment than having a customer trust us again with another project at their home.

We appreciate the opportunity, and our crew did a great job bringing this one together!

Floor-to-Ceiling Fireplace | Mooresville, NC

A beautiful fireplace completed by the Morris Stoneworks team!

This indoor floor-to-ceiling fireplace features Ultimate Stone home of Centurion Stone of the Carolinas Bucks County Milano installed in a dry-stack application, paired with Grey Crab Orchard flagstone on the hearth.

The custom wood mantel, which was installed prior to our arrival, really helps set off this stone selection. The rich wood tones pair perfectly with the color variation in the Bucks County Milano and bring the entire fireplace together.

From the Grey Crab Orchard hearth all the way to the ceiling, this fireplace makes a statement and completely transforms the room. We’re extremely pleased with how this one turned out!

Lake Norman Boathouse Project!

We’re excited to share this boathouse project for our partner Kenneth Bealer Homes, located in The Point on Lake Norman.

The goal was to carry the look of the main home down to the water and create a boathouse that feels like a natural extension of the property. We installed Natural Tennessee Fieldstone, giving the building a clean look that fits perfectly with the lakefront setting.

Once completed, the homeowners plan to use this space for entertaining friends and family, including a golf simulator setup — definitely not your average boathouse!

We appreciate Kenneth Bealer Homes trusting Morris Stoneworks to handle the stonework on another great project. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Two fireplaces, one great stone selection!

Check out these two fireplaces recently completed by the Morris Stoneworks crew using Cultured Stone Country Ledgestone in the Ashfall color.

From the tall interior fireplace with its wood mantel to the covered outdoor fireplace, Country Ledgestone Ashfall brings a great mix of natural-looking shapes, textures, and earthy gray and brown tones. We especially like how the stone works with two completely different spaces while still giving the home a consistent look inside and out.

Another great example of how the right stone can make a fireplace the focal point of a home!

Thanks to our partner JS Testa for the opportunity!

Another great project coming together in North Iredell!

Our Morris Stoneworks crew recently completed the stonework on this beautiful new home using Country Ledgestone Chardonnay by Cultured Stone, supplied by Quarry & Kiln

This project included a large stone accent wall on the exterior, stonework on the interior fireplace, and a full outdoor fireplace on the back porch. We love how the warm tones in the Chardonnay blend with the brick, woodwork, and overall design of the home.

We still have the hearths to install on both fireplaces, but the stonework is looking great and really brings everything together.

A big thank you to builder Bryan Clodfelter for trusting Morris Stoneworks with the masonry on this home and giving us the opportunity to be a part of another great project!

Our team at Morris Stoneworks used Natural Tennessee Fieldstone throughout this outdoor space, including the new back deck walls, columns, and chimney. The natural colors and textures of the fieldstone provide a beautiful contrast against the home and tie the entire outdoor area together.

For the finishing touches, we used travertine caps along the walls, chosen to complement the travertine surrounding the customer’s brand-new pool, along with brown flagging caps on the columns for a natural, distinctive finish.

A big thank you to our customers in Statesville, NC for giving Morris Stoneworks the opportunity to be a part of this project. We appreciate your trust in our team and hope you enjoy this outdoor space for many years to come!

Two Homes Completed at Windstone Crossing!

Morris Stoneworks recently wrapped up the stone foundations on two new homes for Windstone in the Windstone Crossing neighborhood in Troutman, North Carolina.

Home #1: Centurion Stack Gray
Home #2: Centurion Ledgestone Gray
Ultimate Stone home of Centurion Stone of the Carolinas

Two different stone styles, both adding great character and a strong finished look to the foundation of these homes.

We’re proud to continue working with Windstone and appreciate the opportunity to help bring their homes to life, one project at a time.

Morris Stoneworks project complete in The Point — Mooresville, NC!

We’re proud to showcase the stonework on this beautiful custom home, featuring Sawed Tennessee Fieldstone Ashlar throughout the exterior. The natural stone pairs incredibly well with the home’s modern architecture, dark finishes, and warm wood accents.

Our team’s masonry work on this project included the home’s extensive exterior stone veneer, outdoor fireplaces, columns, and custom outdoor grill area—bringing the same craftsmanship and attention to detail to every part of the property.

A special thank you to Stonebridge Luxury Homes, Inc. for their continued partnership and for trusting Morris Stoneworks to be part of another exceptional build. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside builders who value quality craftsmanship as much as we do.

From the first stone to the finishing touches, projects like this are what our crews take pride in.
