We made it back to MGSD for yet another trophy case project, this time for the high school! This ensemble finishes out their "Wall of Champions" area, located at the entrance to their gymnasium. We crafted a slanted roof with beveled corners at the top of the cabinets to raise raise eyes towards all of their championship plaques on the wall, and we left enough space above the cabinets in our design for a second row of championship plaques to be added below the first. Fill it up, Blue Devils! 💪 (Stain color: Minwax "English Chestnut")

This custom pair of his and her closets is complete! Our crew came in and demolished the prior builder-installed closets. We then custom designed and crafted stain-grade cabinetry in a formatting that better serves our clients everyday use and desired aesthetics, with deeper cabinets where possible so that clothing hangers sat fully inside of the cabinet boxes, as well as the addition of upper cabinets throughout both closets to max out storage. We completed sheet rock repair and paintwork in several places following removal of the old closets, as the sheetrock of the house was utilized in lueu of rear paneling in the prior setup. These new closets are a combination of Spruce trim and Birch veneer sheet goods, all stained in Minwax "Classic Gray"! We will leave some "before" pics in the comments below!

Our kitchen cabinetry upfit/remodel work is complete for our clients in Troutman, NC. We custom fabricated a set of upper cabinets and installed them above their current cabinets, extending their cabinetry and storage to the ceiling, and wrapped matching crown molding around their newly completed ensemble. We also removed all of the original door and drawer fronts and built shaker style fronts to replace all of them. We re-envisioned the wine rack section to become an open area with wood shelves, and added some trimwork to all of the plain/flat outer cabinetry faces. We finished by painting the cabinetry and existing backsplash in SW's "Perfect Geige" paint.

Earlier this year we completed built-in cabinetry work in their adjacent laundry room. You can see the matching cabinetry and paint in this area through the doorway in the final picture.

We completed these special sets of sliding doors for three different doorways in our clients home. They wanted us to create a way to hide the sliding "barn door" hardware system, to make for a tidy and modern appearance for their doorways. So, we designed and crafted a special valance box + header ensemble for the top of each entryway, which hides the top-mount rollers and box rail system of the doors from view. Since sliding door tracks do need occasional maintenance/tightening, we designed the valance boxes to be quickly and easily removable via a french cleat hanging system. These boxes simply lift up and off of the cleat on the headerboard for removal, and reinstall in the opposite manner after service.

Our goal here was to creatw a modern/smooth/chic alternative to the look of traditional barn doors and hardware, yet still offer the space saving function and aesthetic impact of sliding doors. Paint color is SW's "Snowbound". We hope everyone has a beautiful Sunday!

Our crew completed the demo of our clients former tile backsplash, replaced their sheetrock, and installed a beautiful new tile backsplash. We then installed a new vent hood and range supplied by Hoodly, and ran larger diameter metal vent piping needed for the higher CFM motor through their attic to the exit at their roof. We crafted and installed sliding doors for several entryways, and we will share those with you over the weekend 😀. Also, we welcomed Isaac, Jacob's brother, to the team this past week. He is in the yellow shirt, and doing a great job!
