Project at Cedar Creek Lake!

This project is taking shape with 14-foot retaining wall panels, along with 12-foot panels where needed, transitioning to 10-foot panels around the curve to follow the layout of the wall.

The site has also presented some challenging soil conditions with a significant amount of sludge, requiring careful planning and the right installation approach.

Project update ⬇️

We're making progress on this retaining wall repair! Right now, we're allowing the backfill to fully settle before pouring the concrete cap to ensure proper settlement and a long-lasting repair.
While we're here, we're also helping the customer by giving their boat dock a fresh update.

Here’s a project we’re currently working on!

This wall failed because the deadmen (anchors) were too short to properly support it.

For this repair, we're spacing the deadman rods closer together, adding a section of sheet pile to the face of each deadman for increased resistance, and installing a second row of deadmen approximately 10 feet in front of the first row for additional support.
This wall needed a stronger anchoring system than a typical installation, and these improvements will help ensure long-term stability.

This project had some structural shifting over time that caused the retaining walls to move outward and the deadman to pull toward the lake. As a result, the boat dock ended up uneven instead of staying straight and aligned. Waterfront construction requires the right balance of support, drainage, and reinforcement to keep everything secure long-term. Proper preparation and structural support make all the difference.
