A tenant just moved out so we went and looked at the property and made sure things were secure. We painted 2 bedrooms , ceilings and trim , did a little drywall repair on the living room ceiling, And sealed and filled a crack in the mortar on her front steps. Were almost finished now we just have to paint the ceiling in one of the bedrooms, And paint some of the trim. Hello neighbors. Heres a few pictures of a Fence repair job we've just completed here at J&M Services . Customer didn't have the means to replace the whole fence at once so we told her not to worry we can replace the worst of it and then screw all the pickets up because whoever originally installed the fence used nails and they were all popping.Then we stained the whole fence to protect it from the elements to make it last until she can replace a fee sections every year and after 2 or 3 seasons her fence would be new. So we replaced 4 of the 4x4 post . We installed 10 new pickets. We went along the whole fence and screwed every picket. Then we stained the fence . Another happy customer!. Hello neighbors. Well things have started to come together for us at J&M Services . We got our basement exterior door installed and opening nicely, Locks working smoothly, Door adjusted and finished. Finally got the subfloor the rite height and got the tile installed and grouted, Vanity put together, And the wall prepped for paint and Vanity set in place. Hello neighbors. As im sure you know by now Im Mike with J&M SeF3rvices . I wanted to post progress on our exterior basement door removal and new installation job. I thought for sure we'd finish yesterday, But i was wrong . However we did make very good progress. We got the new door in the opening after grinding about another inch off of the concrete then she went into place . Then we secured it with some tapcon screws made for block and concrete. Then we installed the bottom lock . Now all we have to do is make a couple final adjustments, Then install the new deadbolt and silicone all the edges and little gaps.Then finished!... Here's a few pictures of our progress. There's alot that sevàeral us here at J&M but to list a couple would he that if something isn't quite rite ,We will do it over or mess with it until its the way it's supposed to be. Man I know one thing, It's been a tough challenging week here at J&M. With all the rain we fell a little behind. Then on top of that made s mistake on one of our jobs. I was applying self leveler to a subfloor so we could tile under customers new vanity and i didn't apply enough self leveler, So we applied another coat and I must of mixed it a little to wet because it didn't cure properly so we had 2 scrape it out and go over it with some Henry's feather finish to fix the problem but that put us another day behind. Then we had a exterior basement door install that turned out 2 be alot more then we thought and that put us another day behind. Well we kept chugging along and got the subfloor rite and the tile down and we should finish the door today. Thats 2 thing's that separates us at J&M from the rest .Number 1 if something on one of our jobs doesn't turn out just like we know it should, it gets re done until its rite !. Another thing is we communicate with our customers and let tjem know we're a little behind Number 2 The pride we put into our work and the fact that we stand by it !.
