Traverse City’s Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) is currently hosting a collaborative art exhibition, “Windows to Wonder” that features seven artists from the area.
Utilizing uniquely shaped panels that mimic the iconic shape of an airplane window, the collection explores the “window seat headspace” - that rare moment of transition where the physical world meets the
expansive thinking of the mind. From the quiet glow of city lights to whimsical scenes in the clouds, this collection invites you to pause and find your own sense of wonder mid-journey.
The installation features a diverse range of styles, from the structured beauty of Michigan’s winter landscapes to surrealist dreams and celebratory toasts at 30,000 feet. The exhibition is currently on display in the main terminal, with works available for purchase via individual artist websites or as a complete group installation.
