We took a different approach on this recent project by turning a funcitonal walkout into a custom design feature. Our crews built a curved stone staircase wrapped in a rugged boulder retaining wall, tying it directly into the surrounding flagstone walkway. When every corner of a property is intentionally planned, even a basement door becomes a natural part of the landscape.
