New build underway in Kingsley! 🚧

Site prep is well underway on this new basement project. We cleared over an acre of large hardwood, installed a construction drive to keep the site accessible until final grades are established for the permanent driveway, and have the basement prepped and ready for concrete.

A lot happens before a new home ever starts coming out of the ground. Getting the site cleared, accessible, and properly prepared sets the foundation for everything that follows.

Ready for concrete and the next phase!

What an honor to be part of the National Cherry Festival Parade! 🍒🎶

High Grade Excavation was proud to provide our trailer and dump truck to pull the Traverse City West High School Band through the parade route this year.

Supporting our local students and being able to give back to our community is something we’re truly grateful for. Seeing the band perform and the smiles along the parade route made it all worthwhile.

A big thank you to the talented students, directors, volunteers, and everyone who helps make this tradition possible. We’re proud to call Traverse City home and are thankful for opportunities like this to serve our community.

❤️ From all of us at High Grade Excavation, thank you for a great Cherry Festival, and best wishes to the TC West Band for a fantastic season ahead!

🚧 Big News for High Grade Excavation 🚧

We’re excited to share that we’ve officially closed on a new commercial property that is the new headquarters for High Grade Excavation.

Last month, we officially started our fourth year in business. In just a few short years, we’ve grown from a small startup into a company with an incredible team, great customers, and more opportunities than we could have imagined. This new facility is a major milestone in that journey.

While we’ll continue operating from our 5-acre property in Interlochen, our new headquarters gives us the space and infrastructure needed to support our continued growth, including:

✔️ A paved, fenced yard for equipment and fleet storage
✔️ A large shop with six overhead doors for equipment maintenance and repairs
✔️ Expanded office space
✔️ A conference room for meetings, planning, and collaboration

This opportunity wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work that has gone into building High Grade Excavation over the last four years. We’re also incredibly grateful for the support of family, employees, and customers who have believed in us along the way.

As we continue to grow, we’re committed to investing in our people, our equipment, and our ability to serve customers throughout Northern Michigan.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey so far. We’re excited for what’s next.
