Did you know not every "local" garage door company is actually local? 🚨

Scam operators build fake websites and listings designed to look like they're right around the corner. They take the call, send whoever's available, and disappear before you realize what happened.

Before you hire anyone, look for the red flags:
- no physical address listed anywhere
- a generic business name like Garage Door Repair Services
- multiple near-identical listings in your area; all with different names

A real local company has an address you can drive by, a name you can look up, and credentials you can verify. Ask two questions before you hire: Is the company accredited? Is the technician certified? The good ones will be glad you asked.
